Oscar is a spectacular full-length ballet by Tony Award-winning choreographer Christopher Wheeldon based on the life and writings of Oscar Wilde.

For the world premiere of this new production The Australian Ballet required an original brand design and design system to encapsulate the whimsy, drama and breathtaking visual storytelling of this ballet.

The themes of the story, the beauty of the ballet and the symbols of Wilde’s time were used to develop a design that became an attention-grabbing focal point of the entertainment media landscape. Through our choice of colour and design hierarchy a design system to introduce this production to a new audience and delight the ballet's existing audience.

Campaign assets included online media, OOH, onsite theatre signage, onsite activation installations, social media, digital display, video content, photography and animation.

Velvet is an award-winning hit show that was created by Craig Ilott and Peter Rix and commenced performances in 2015 at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

Velvet is disco-fuelled circus/burlesque cabaret, this sexy, spectacular, sparkling and slightly sado-masochistic show channels the original Studio 54 nightclub. Dazzling acrobatics, disco divas and seductive chanteuses in a hot, pulsating atmosphere.

A theatrical concert series slated for 2023 celebrating the life and work of the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.

Performances will play at Sydney Opera House, Melbourne’s Hamer Hall and Brisbane’s QPAC featuring a five-member cast of wonderful female singers. Narrated and Directed by Jada Alberts.

Design digital and social assets for the tease, launch, sustain and final hours stages of the campaign.

Design a suite of brand assets to be used in a modular structure for ongoing online and social assets created in-house.

In Their Shoes was a collaboration between Warner Music recording artist and Converse Sneakers to raise money for Cancer Awareness Month.

Over 18 months Warner Music created 70 pairs of hand designed Converse sneakers from their most celebrated artists.

Some of the contributing artists included Bruno Mars, The Black Keys, Ed Sheeran, James Blunt, New Order, Kimbra, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Linkin Park, Michael Buble, Paramore, You Am I, Moby and Skrillex.

A special VIP showcase event was held in Sydney to display the works of art with performances from Sydney’s elite musical talent.

All pairs of sneakers were auctioned through eBay with all proceeds going to cancer research.

HOW

Create an online festival vibe. Parallel all the festival

touchpoints a person would encounter at a festival

(Tickets, VIP lanyards, Setlists, Backstage passes, Food

Trucks, After Party) and transfer them to the Ryderwear

fitness world.

WHY

This allows us to be something more than just a sale, it’s

an immersive experience designed around our

community living their best life, using festival visuals and

concepts.

Based on research, virtual festivals (and even a few IRL

ones) are on-trend right now.

This also gives scope to have different activations and

ideas across the entire three week sale period.

Metallica ‘Six Feet Down Under’ Parts 1 & 2 are a limited edition commemorative live EPs by American heavy metal band Metallica. Released in Australia and New Zealand only through Universal Music. It has been sold by Trans-Tasman record stores, Metallica online store and iTunes only. The EPs contain fan recordings of live songs from the band's archive that were never released and new live recordings from recent Australia and New Zealand shows.

Our branding needs to compliment, not compete. Think of our

website like a portfolio, let the product speak for itself. Being subtle

with our design and use of colour will allow our products to shine.

We don’t want our design to compete & complicate the portfolio,

otherwise there will be too much noise, and elements competing.

Branding Characteristics:

• Less is more, embrace white space

• Elements not to be placed on photography - let it speak & shine

Simple, clean & minimal will portray a modern, confident and

premium identity towards Ryderwear.

'You Decide Your Vibe'

Approach
Ryderwear Sola collection has a vibe for every workout you do, every time of day, everywhere you go.

Execution
Shot in LA, we wanted to showcase strength of the individual and community in a relaxed outdoor location. The mix of colours, models and exercise highlighted the choice of expression with the choice of Sola vibe

'Love Yourself NKD'

Approach
Promote a movement of empowerment, body positivity and comfort through the reactions to the collection from the Ryderwear community.

Execution
We ran a competition for the Ryderwear community to share their favourite RW activewear. As a prize for sharing a selection of entrants featured in the campaign for the NKD collection, sharing their thoughts, feelings and why they choose to love themselves NKD.

As the NKD collection evolved and grew the theme of empowerment and positivity stayed with it.

Set in the centre of Paris nightlife, not for the faint hearted. It’s a hood, sans pretence. You arrive cold and you always find a party.

Into this glamorous but edgy nightlife arrives the new owner of a very old nightclub. Rumoured to be haunted, a little tired, a little run down, but transformed during this first evening our new owner spends in his new club as he discovers the troupe of burlesque, circus, dance and vocal performers who have been hiding behind closed doors as they waited to find the future of their nightclub home.

A warm-hearted but thumping discotheque beat that propels this 80-minute performance as the nightclub transforms into the sophisticated, glamorous reflection of modern Paris.

Starring Marcia Hines and iOTA, Pigalle set the Spiegeltent on fire as part of the 2019 Sydney Festival, 'Pigalle' is a unique combination of cabaret, circus, burlesque and discotheque; and features a stellar cast of performers including music legend Marcia Hines.

A fading neighbourhood will be transformed into a magical world of music and reckless abandon in the world premiere of 'Pigalle'.

A partnership combining music, art and wearable technology.

Using a GPS Fitbit we track an up and coming recording artist as they attend major music festivals around the world.

Using line tracked of their day we combine weather data, attendance, etc, to influence a local artist and produce an art series for shows, charity auctions, festival art the following year, etc.
